What are your candles made of?
We use a 100% plant-based wax, made out of a natural blend of rapeseed and coconut.  This gives a clean burn and ensures you do not inhale any toxic ingredients. Our fine fragrances are also paraben and phthalate free, so you can scent your home without any nasties.

Why is my candle top not smooth
As we use a natural plant-based wax, the way it reacts with the environment can be unpredictable and overly hot or humid conditions can cause the surface of your candle to become bumpy when it re-solidifies. This is perfectly normal and is consistent with how a natural wax performs.  Rest assured that this does not affect the quality or scent throw of the candle. 

I'm having trouble lighting my wood wick
Wood wicks require careful maintenance but it's well worth it for the cozy ambience that it provides. Be sure to break off the blackened bits of your candle, and the wick should be trimmed after every burn. Why do I still have some leftover wax after my wood wick has burnt down
The wood wick holders are designed to leave behind a small amount of wax for safety reasons. This is to prevent the wax from burning all the way down as the candle glass can get too hot and shatter. If you have a wax burner, you can remove the wax from the container and continue to enjoy the remaining scent safely.
